Moon Wide Field

November 3, 2020

This is a waning gibbous moon taken with a single five millisecond shot using the guide scope on the C11 back in November 2020. It was really my first decent shot of the entire disc of the moon.

If I had known more about what I was doing, I could have gotten more detail by shooting 100 or so shots and stacking them. But the moon is so bright, I thought a single shot would suffice. It worked out okay, but I've since changed my approach to this shot.
