NGC 7380 actually refers to the star cluster surrounded by the Wizard Nebula, but it is commonly used, nonetheless, to refer to the nebula. Both are about 7,000 light years from Earth in the Cepheus constellation.

The Wizard is about 100 light years in breadth. It gave birth to the star cluster that bears the NGC 7380 catalogue designation.
